Customer Care Agent
The Customer Care Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to the company’s customers regarding the company’s products and services.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule local and remote technicians for customer service appointments
  • Provide support and assistance to customers and field technicians on job sites.
  • Handle incoming customer calls to analyze and resolve basic security system and/or audio/video malfunctions.
  • Receive and respond to escalations from the field.
  • Document and update customer records
  • Handle high call volumes
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as business requires and as assigned by the Customer Care Manager
 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices.
  • Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred

Scheduling Agent

The Scheduling Agent is responsible for scheduling installation appointments and maintaining the schedule of the field technicians to ensure all assigned projects are completed timely.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule local and remote technician appointments for builder accounts.
  • Handle communication between technicians and builder clients regarding appointments and schedules
  • Create floor plans for low voltage installation
  • Audit floor plan work orders with purchase orders to ensure all installed items are being invoiced
  • Providing customer service to builder clients with progress updates
  • Update client profiles
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Sales Administrator
The Sales Administrator provides administrative support to the sales team.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with and assist outside and inside sales team
  • Handle all final paperwork needed for scheduling activations, installs, and security monitoring
  • Schedule all activations and installs
  • Generate weekly sales report for management review
  • Document and update sales and customer records
  • Handle customer inquiries
  • Process customer payments as needed
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or another related field

The Outside Sales Representative will leverage his/her sales experience by using consultative selling skills to strengthen customer relationships, grow profitable sales, and develop new business.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell security, home automation & monitoring solutions.
  • Acquires new customers by making contact with leads
  • Source new sales opportunities
  • Regular travel within assigned territory to represent the company and achieve assigned sales goals
  • Prepare and present professional sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Build strong and successful relationships with clients
  • Responsible for writing contracts for customer orders
  • Resolves customer complaints and inquiries

Technician Positions

Trim Level Tech I
Trim Technicians install wall devices, terminate cables, and troubleshoot basic security wiring problems.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret floor plans and place wiring at appropriate locations
  • Identify cable types and uses for low voltage cables (Cat5, Cat6, RG6U, 16/2, 16/4, 22/2, 22/4, etc.) and identify the termination type used
  • Run wiring in home run, daisy chain, or other wiring topology and identify what style to utilize for a given application
  • Update and provide accurate digital pictures of work in work management software
  • Update and provide accurate paperwork and notes on job status and completion
  • Install wall plates, terminate cable ends, trim low voltage panels neatly, follow work orders, install and program security system according to company programming sheets
  • Install and test other basic systems sold and installed by the company including LyricQ Audio, Architectural Speakers, Basic Volume Controls, Intercom Systems, WAP’s
  • Handle moves and additional as required after drywall with retrofit skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Understanding of material types used in residential construction and standards for drilling/running low voltage wiring
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

AV/Security Technician I
AV/Security Technicians perform service, installation and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, and remote controls.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs service, installation, and activation of security systems, surround sound systems, system components, speakers, TV hangs, and remote controls.
  • Identify and repair security system malfunctions and false alarms
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing wiring installed for Phone/Data/Intercom/Security/WAP’s/Basic Audio/Cameras/etc.
  • Learn and understand security systems Phoenix Systems installs and services (NX, SimonXTi, 2Gig, DSC, Etc.)
  • Handle setup of networking requirements for Routers, Switches, DVR’s, Network Components, WAP’s, etc.
  • Learn and understands monitoring protocol with Phoenix/Monitoring Station/Primary Responders for alarms
  • Communicate with customers to review work orders,
  • Provide instruction/training to customers/end user on the system functions and operations
  • Accurately assess system design and functionality when adding additional components
  • Handle after hours emergency service calls (as assigned on a rotation basis)
  • Communicate pricing for monitoring rate tiers to customers
  • Install, setup and train homeowners on AV component packages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Security/AV Installations required
  • Have in depth knowledge of security systems operation, functions, and wiring requirements
  • Understands cable types and technologies and can distinguish which types to use in installation scenarios

  • Ability to work in a clean and unobtrusive manner

  • Communicate with the customer to review the work orders, answer customer questions professionally and properly
  • Instruct and train the customer/end user on the system functions and operation.
  • Have in depth knowledge of security systems operation, functions, and wiring requirements
